The Dulaney Gate Community Association is dedicated to preserving the character, beauty, and value of our neighborhood while fostering the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Dulaney Gate a wonderful place to call home.

About Our Association

Formed in 1982, the Dulaney Gate Community Association, Inc. (DGCA) is a homeowner-governed organization representing the residents of the Dulaney Gate community. Our mission is to uphold community standards, support neighborhood initiatives, and ensure that Dulaney Gate remains a desirable place to live for current and future homeowners.

Operated by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by fellow homeowners, the Association serves as the voice of our residents and the steward of our shared community character. We work year-round to address concerns, plan improvements, and keep our neighborhood running smoothly.

What We Do

Our Association is committed to providing value to every homeowner through a range of essential services and community-focused activities:

  1. Community Communication: We keep residents informed through newsletters, email updates, and this website so you always know what’s happening in the neighborhood.
  2. Neighborhood Events: From seasonal gatherings to community meetings, we create opportunities for neighbors to connect and build lasting friendships.
  3. Architectural Review: Our Architectural Committee reviews proposed exterior modifications to help preserve the consistent appearance and long-term value of our homes.
  4. Covenant Enforcement: We thoughtfully and fairly uphold the community’s governing documents to protect property values and quality of life.
  5. Maintenance of Entrance Signage: We oversee the landscaping and lighting of the monument signs.

Getting Involved

A strong community is built by engaged neighbors. Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to Dulaney Gate, there are many ways to get involved—attend a board meeting, volunteer for a committee, share your ideas, or simply introduce yourself to the family next door. Every voice matters, and every contribution helps shape the future of our community.

Although every home in Dulaney Gate is subject to the Restrictive Covenants of the Declaration, membership in the Association is voluntary. Any homeowner may join by paying the annual membership dues. Only members in good standing may participate or vote in Association meetings or initiatives.

Financial Records

The Board of Directors and the DGCA Treasurer are committed to openness, transparency, and integrity in the management of our Association’s finances. As the stewards of your Membership Dues, we believe every resident has the right to know how Association funds are collected, managed, and spent. For this reason, we regularly publish our financial statements here for review by all members of the community. We encourage homeowners to stay informed, ask questions, and engage with the Board regarding any aspect of our financial operations—because an informed community is a stronger community.

Governing Documents

The DGCA operates under a set of Governing Documents that establish the framework for how our community is managed and maintained. These documents—including the Declaration of Restrictive Covenants, Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, and Architectural Guidelines—outline the rights and responsibilities of homeowners, define the authority of the Board of Directors, and set the standards that help preserve the character, appearance, and property values of our neighborhood. We encourage every resident to review these documents carefully, as they serve as the foundation for a well-run community and a shared commitment to keeping Dulaney Gate a wonderful place to live.
